LankaMeet is built on respect, authenticity, and safety. These Community Guidelines apply to all users. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.

Be authentic

• Use recent photos that clearly show your face
• Do not impersonate another person or use fake identities
• Do not misrepresent your age, marital status, or intentions
• One account per person

Be respectful

• Treat others with dignity — no harassment, bullying, or hate speech
• No discrimination based on race, religion, caste, gender, sexuality, or disability
• Accept "no" gracefully — do not persist after someone declines or blocks you
• Keep matrimony interactions respectful; families and traditions matter

Keep it safe

• Do not share financial information, passwords, or OTP codes
• No scams, sugar-dating solicitation, or requests for money/gifts
• Do not post contact details publicly in bios (use in-app messaging)
• Report suspicious or abusive behaviour immediately

Prohibited content

• Nudity, sexually explicit images, or pornographic material
• Violence, threats, or content promoting self-harm
• Illegal activity or promotion of illegal substances
• Spam, advertising, or multi-level marketing
• Photos of minors or anyone who appears under 18

Matrimony conduct

Interest requests should be genuine and marriage-oriented. Do not send mass copy-paste messages, misrepresent your intentions, or share another person's biodata without permission.

Enforcement

Our team reviews reports and verification submissions. We may remove content, restrict features, or ban accounts without refund where guidelines or Terms are violated. Serious violations may be referred to authorities.
