Welcome to LankaMeet ("LankaMeet", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experiences, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using LankaMeet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use LankaMeet.
• You must be legally permitted to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You may not use the Service if you have been previously banned or removed.
• You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lankameet.online if you suspect unauthorised access.

One person may maintain only one account unless we expressly approve otherwise. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account.

3. The Service

LankaMeet provides tools for Sri Lankan singles to discover connections through:

• Explore — swipe-based dating discovery and messaging;
• Matrimony — biodata browsing, compatibility information, and interest requests.

We do not guarantee matches, responses, marriage outcomes, or any particular result from using the Service. LankaMeet is a platform connecting users; we are not a marriage broker, employment agency, or escort service.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans (e.g. Plus, Gold) and one-off purchases (e.g. profile boosts) are billed through our payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel through your account or billing portal.

Prices, features, and plan limits may change with reasonable notice. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. User content and conduct

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, bio, messages). You grant LankaMeet a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service.

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. Prohibited behaviour includes harassment, hate speech, impersonation, scams, sharing others' private information without consent, posting explicit or illegal content, and using the Service for commercial solicitation.

6. Verification

We may offer identity or video verification. Verification badges indicate review at a point in time; they are not a guarantee of a user's identity, intentions, or safety. Always exercise caution when meeting people online or in person.

7. Privacy

Your use of LankaMeet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our guidelines, or applicable law, with or without notice where permitted.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LankaMeet and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
